Stephanie Kimber, Relational Psychotherapist

Hi, I'm Stephanie — a relational psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience. Welcome! I am so pleased you are interested in starting counseling and that your search brought you here.

Whether you're navigating a difficult divorce, healing from a complicated relationship, or simply feeling like you have lost your footing, you don't have to find your way alone.

WHO I HELP

Do you feel like a shadow in your own life, exhausted from the mental gymnastics of a high-conflict relationship?

Breaking free from a narcissistic partner or complex divorce can leave you feeling untethered and silenced. Whether you are navigating the fog of gaslighting or the tactical stress of a legal split, you don't have to rebuild in isolation. You are likely seeking more than just a listener—you need a partner to help you sharpen decision-making, reclaim your self-assertiveness, and identify clear options for a future that finally belongs to you. It is time to stop walking on eggshells and start walking toward your new goals.

With decades of experience, I specialize in recovery from narcissistic dynamics, betrayal trauma, and the hurdles of high-conflict coparenting. My approach is deeply collaborative and client-centered, focusing on empowerment at your pace. I offer the clinical expertise to help you deconstruct the past while building a practical goal-oriented path forward.

You’ve spent enough time prioritizing someone else’s needs; let’s make your healing the new priority. It takes the courage to step out of the cycle and into the unknown. I am here to provide a steady, empathetic space as you find your voice again. Please reach out to schedule a free 30-minute consultation—let’s work together to rebuild your life.

If you are ready to move forward toward growth and healing, I invite you to schedule a free phone consultation today.

AREAS OF FOCUS

How I Can Help You

My Specialties
I specialize in helping individuals find their footing during and after major life transitions. My work often focuses on:

  • Divorce & Separation: Helping you move through the grief of relationship loss and the challenges of coparenting, then reclaiming your identity and building a future that feels authentically yours.

  • Family of Origin Issues: Exploring how early dynamics shaped your current world and gently shifting those patterns to create more fulfilling adult relationships.

  • Recovering from Narcissistic Relationships and Abuse: Providing validation and practical tools for those coping with and recovering from relationships with individuals who exhibit narcissistic tendencies. We will work on rebuilding self-worth, healing from cycles of gaslighting and manipulation, and avoiding common pitfalls by setting firm boundaries with more effective communication strategies.

MY APPROACH

Your therapist
for every
chapter.

——

One of the things I hear most from returning clients is that it is easier to come back when they know they don't have to start over. I already know their story. Over the years, I've supported clients through divorce, helped them find healthy new relationships after trauma, and sat with them through grief and loss.

I've held their babies as they adjusted to new parenthood — and helped them stay steady during that child's teen years. My goal is to be what the trusted family doctor used to be: the person who knows the formative — and yes, even the funny — parts of your story, and then helps you write yourself beautiful and fulfilling new chapters.

Whether this is our first conversation or you're returning after years away, you are always welcome! I work with adults and teens throughout New Hampshire and Vermont via telehealth — quality care, wherever you are.
